Thursday To-do: Feb. 3

A city truck with an attached snow plow clears snow on Garland Avenue near the UA campus Thursday morning.

Okay, campers, rise and shine, and don’t forget your booties ’cause it’s cooooold out there today.
(sorry, sorta)

Movie quotes aside, it’s not just cold out there. It’s…actually we don’t even know what to call it. Consider this, if we’re lucky, it might come within a few degrees of freezing out there by 3 p.m. Good grief.

The roads aren’t much better than they were when we checked yesterday afternoon, so once again, we suggest you double-check with the venues before you head out tonight.

We know that Walton Arts Center is closed and that Fayetteville Underground has postponed tonight’s art openings until next Thursday. Also, we’ve been told that the photo opening at Sound Warehouse has been cancelled.

As for the rest of the list, we’ve not heard of any more closings, but don’t hold us to that. Anything could change.

We do know that the Jonathan Byrd and Corin Raymond show at Goodfolk is still on and that it’s been moved up to 7:00 p.m.

Here ya go:
