Monday To-do: Feb. 7

After a quick look at a few different weather websites this morning, we can safely say this: Some people are positive that it’s going to snow again this week.

The people at weather.com are giving it an 80 percent chance, the National Weather Service says 90 percent, and Weather Rick is going all out with a 100 percent prediction.

Want to get out of the house for a change? Consider doing it tonight and consider Smoke & Barrel Tavern as your destination. Local band Memphis Pencils are playing with Chicago’s Netherfriends and it’s going to be a good one for two reasons: 1) It’s a perfect pairing of bands and 2) It’s MemPen frontman Martin Bemberg’s birthday celebration (we’ve heard several cake rumors).

There are a few other choices on today’s list and we’ve typed them below this sentence for your convenience.

The list

Root Elementary: Healthy Dinner On A Budget Family Cooking Class
Fayetteville Public Library: BookTalk@Night
The Perk: Open acoustic jam
JJ’s Grill n Chill: Twosome Trio
