Coming here: North Mississippi Allstars, March 26 at George’s

The greatest rock band on the planet (at least according to a recent review in No Depression) is coming back to Fayetteville next month.

North Mississippi Allstars just released a new album, and are hitting the road again on a tour that will bring them to George’s Majestic Lounge for a show on Saturday, March 26.

The new record, Keys to the Kingdom, was released on Feb. 1 and celebrates the life of legendary musician and producer Jim Dickinson, the father of the Allstars’ Cody and Luther Dickinson.

The album has been getting great reviews. The record spawned the “greatest rock band on the planet” statement by No Depression, and Greg Kot of the Chicago Tribune is calling it their best work since their 2000 debut Shake Hands with Shorty.

The band will kick off their North American Tour in Lawrence, KS later this week, and they’ll stop in Fayetteville on their way back from South By Southwest in March.

Tickets to the show are $17, and are available now at George’s ticketing site.
