Spay Arkansas to give away five spay and neuter surgeries

Spay Arkansas is giving away five free surgeries to Northwest Arkansas residents today to commemorate Spay Day, a national campaign to inspire people to spay and neuter their pets.

To enter, email the organization at spayarkansas(at)gmail(dot)com today (Feb. 23) with your name, phone number, address, and a brief explanation of why you could use the help. They will announce the five winners on their website this Friday, Feb. 25.

The organization recently opened a low-cost clinic at 1909 W. Huntsville Road in Springdale with a mission to make sure low-income citizens have an opportunity to have their animals spayed or neutered for a reasonable price, with an ultimate goal to reduce the number of homeless animals in the area.

Spay Arkansas also distributed 60 additional free surgeries to animal control officers in Madison County, Siloam Springs, and Springdale.
