UA hosts cast members from MTV’s The Buried Life Feb. 28

Ever heard of that television network called Music Television? I think the kids call it “MTV” now.

Well, some of the television stars from the popular MTV program The Buried Life are coming to Fayetteville next week.

The cast of the show will be speaking at the Union Ballroom on the University of Arkansas Campus on Monday, Feb. 28 at 8 p.m., and a meet and greet will follow at 9:30 p.m. at the Multicultural Center.

For those who aren’t familiar, The Buried Life follows four guys from Canada who are trying to complete a list of “100 things to do before they die.” For each item that they complete on their list, they help a stranger achieve one of their dreams.

For example, in the first episode of the show, the group set out to sneak into the Playboy Mansion as uninvited guests while simultaneously helping a group of underprivileged kids by providing their classroom with a new computer.

The event is sponsored by University Programs Cultures and Concepts Committee. Tickets are available at the Campus Life Center (Arkansas Union, Room A665) through Friday, Feb. 25, and admission is two cans of non-perishable food.
