A whole bunch of merrymakers riding on strange vehicles and wearing weird costumes made their way down Dickson Street Saturday afternoon during the 20th annual Fat Saturday Parade of Fools.
Despite the chilly weather, turnout to the parade was good, with several hundred folks lining both sides of the street.

The parade is organized annually by Fayetteville Mardi Gras, and there are more Mardi Gras festivities planned through Fat Tuesday.
