Wednesday To-do: March 16

  • By Todd Gill · Wednesday, Mar 16, 2011

If you’re wearing green today, you’re a little early. Daylight saving time springs us forward an hour, not a full day.

It’s never too early to make plans, though. We gathered up all the St. Patty’s Day event info we know of and made this: Flyer Guide: St. Patricks Day 2011

As for tonight, New York-based piano-pop rockers Matt White and Brendan James are in town. The Rogue setting is somewhat quaint for a musician like White, who’s shared the stage with folks like B.B. King, John Mayer and Counting Crows, giving all the more reason for fans to take note. Tickets are $10 at arkansaslivemusic.com.

Elsewhere, there’s Wii bowling at Smoke & Barrel, Paddy O’Grill’s ushering in the holiday at Mickey Finn’s and Domewrekka’s at FIX.

But wait, there’s more.

The list

Common Grounds: Daniel & the Lion
Mickey Finn’s: Dave Malm (Paddy O’Grill)
JJ’s Grill n Chill: Sam “Muddy” Hunt
Greenhouse Grille: Jeff Alvine
Savor: “Esquire Attire” Charity Fashion Show
UARK Ballroom: SALVAGE: A Re-Purposed Hair and Make Up Show
Arsaga’s on Crossover: Singer/songwriter circle
Mojo’s Pints & Pies: Johny Arrendondo
Rogue Pizza Co.: Matt White / Brendan James
Smoke & Barrel Tavern: Urban Achievers Wii Bowling
Fix: FIX Wednesday’s w/ Domewrekka
