  • By Todd Gill · Monday, Mar 21, 2011

Mayor Jordan and city staff members speak during a 2009 Town Hall Meeting in the Fayetteville Boys & Girls Club.

With all the Town Hall Meeting news over the past couple months, it’s easy to get a little confused.

The next Mayor’s Town Hall Meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, March 28 at the Fayetteville Senior Center, 945 S. College Avenue in Fayetteville.

This meeting is separate from the campus Town and Gown Town Hall Meeting which was cancelled in February and rescheduled for April.

As with all town hall meetings, this event is open to anyone interested in knowing more about local government issues. Town Hall meetings offer direct contact and conversation with Mayor Lioneld Jordan and various City department directors.

The Fayetteville Senior Center’s Director, Sherri Napier, is scheduled to open the meeting and provide information about the center.

Refreshments will be provided and a painting by Fayetteville artist Karolyn Farrell will be given away at a free drawing held during the event.

Upcoming Town Hall Meetings

Monday, March 28 – Fayetteville Senior Center, 945 S. College Avenue – 7 p.m.
Wednesday, April 20 – E.J. Ball Courtroom at the U of A School of Law – UA Campus – 4 p.m.
