There are two spring bulky waste cleanup set for this Saturday, March 26.

If you’re the kind of person who only remembers bulky waste cleanups after they’ve occurred, then that makes two of us.

I’m determined, however, to finally get rid of the busted old JCPenney model oven (pictured above) that’s been sitting in my garage for months.

This Saturday, March 26, there are two bulky waste cleanups scheduled in Fayetteville, specifically for residents who need to get rid of large, bulky items that cannot fit into a normal trash cart.

Bulky waste will be accepted from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Owl Creek School, 375 N. Rupple Road. and Shaver Foods (Behind Randall Tyson Track complex), 1367 S. Beechwood Avenue.

The cleanups are free for Fayetteville residents (bring a recent copy of your water bill to verify residency).

For more info on what types of waste are accepted and to see a schedule of the remaining spring bulky waste cleanups, see our original post from earlier this month.
