Frozen yogurt junkies in Uptown Fayetteville have been forced to drive to other areas of town to get their fro-yo fix.
That will change this weekend when CherryBerry yogurt bar opens at 4 p.m. Friday April 8 at 745 E. Joyce Boulevard.
“We are excited to become a part of Fayetteville and the growth for the area,” company president Michael Chafin told us last month. “We plan to open one more store in Fayetteville this summer as well.”
The new store, located on the second floor of Nelson’s Crossing shopping center, will carry 12 rotating fat-free frozen yogurt flavors and over 50 toppings. According to info posted to the location’s Facebook page, CherryBerry will offer free samples to all customers on Friday.
The Oklahoma-based chain currently operates about 15 stores in the region, and has been expanding rapidly. The locations page on the company’s website indicates that 16 additional locations are in the works.
