Lightbulb Club stage lineup for Block Street Block Party released

  • By Dustin Bartholomew · Wednesday, Apr 27, 2011

Fauxnz is one of six local bands scheduled to perform on the Lightbulb Club stage during the Block Street Block Party on May 22.

The Block Street Block Party is coming up May 22, and while the full details of the festival are set to be released sometime next week, some information on one of the four music stages planned during the event was released earlier Wednesday.

Club co-owner Wade Ogle posted the lineup for the Lightbulb Club Block Party stage on our Facebook page, and there happens to be a pretty impressive group of local bands on it.

According to Ogle, Memphis Pencils, Fauxnz, Swimming, Voyageurs, Messy Sparkles, and Perpetual Werewolf are set to perform beginning at 1 p.m. during the festival.

Also, the finale the of the Clunk Hot Dog Eating competition will take place on the stage, which will be located just across from the bar on Block Avenue.

We’ll have more details on the Block Street Block Party next week, including the lineups for the DJ stage, the Pickin’ Post stage, and the Tables & Ale stage. More information on some of the other activities scheduled to take place during the festival will be released next week as well.

For now, enjoy the above video of Fauxnz rocking the bejeezus out of everyone at Rogue earlier this year.
