The Dalai Lama is coming to town for a panel discussion, and a keynote address at Bud Walton Arena on the University of Arkansas campus on Wednesday.

It’s University of Arkansas Graduation weekend, and a lot of hard-working students will be getting their well-earned degrees. They’ll also be celebrating their butts off.

There’s a ton of good live music to see in town, the Block Street Block Party is coming up, and if you’re a University of Arkansas student, finals will be over on Friday (if not before).

The Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce is hosting a “Good Morning Fayetteville” networking event at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday at Arkansas Physical Health & Rehab.
Slightly Stoopid, Dumstaphunk, Bob Schneider, Big Uns, The Odds, Jon Shorter Band, Randall Shreve, Memphis Pencils, and more are at George’s this week. Schedule.
Hugo’s will be open Sunday, May 22 for the Block Street Block Party. They’re hosting a “Baggo for Burgers” competition, too. Win some free food!
JJ’s Grill has Wiley Seeger, Jeff Fox, Cook County, Russ Hutchison, Clint Scrivner, and Maud Crawford this week. Free live music!

Ozark Natural Foods is hosting a cooking demonstration with Daniel Klein of the Perennial Plate at 5 p.m. on May 13. The Old 78s will play before the demonstration, starting at 3:30 p.m.
Powerhouse Seafood has Karaoke in the Boars Head Pub on Monday night, and LaFuso is playing Party on the Patio this Thursday night.
Smoke & Barrel Tavern has Basement Brew, The Brothel Sprouts, Memphis Pencils, Messy Sparkles, and Black Pearl this week. Badical.

Emelia’s Kitchen has a new Mazza Menu, featuring $3.99 appetizers, and $5.99 entrees. Served Monday-Wednesday from 4-6 p.m., and Saturday from 2-6 p.m.
Hjem Restaurant will be set up in front of the restaurant during the Fayetteville Farmers’ Market Saturday from 10 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Stop by for something delicious.
