Fayetteville flags are in stock at the Visitors Center

The Fayetteville flag was approved by the City Council in 1976. Also, it’s been to outer space.

About a month ago, we learned that Fayetteville has an official flag, and as far as we know, the only two that existed at that time were flying over city hall, and at the Arkansas Air Museum.

Also, one of them has been to outer space.

Now, thanks to the folks at the Fayetteville Visitors Bureau gift shop, there are way more than two Fayetteville flags in existence. You can even buy one for yourself.

The flags are 5 feet wide by 3 feet tall and cost $50 each.

The Visitors Center is located at 21 South Block Street, Suite 100 on the Fayetteville square, and is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.
