The UARK Theater sign, a 71-year-old Dickson Street landmark is being removed for repair.
A crew spent Tuesday afternoon dismantling the red and white, marquee-style theater sign above the storefront of Sidney’s Emporium at 647 W. Dickson Street in Fayetteville.

An employee at Sidney’s said they’ll soon be seeking bids on a replacement, and are hoping for a full restoration which would bring neon lights back to the sign.
