William Patrick “Mac” McQuade

A beautifully creative and restless spirit left this world May 7, 2011.

William Patrick McQuade or “Mac” as he was known throughout his life was born June 20, 1977 in Fort Smith, to Janet (Fischer) McQuade and William G. McQuade. In addition to his parents, Mac leaves a sister, Julie McQuade, a nephew, William “Tyler” McQuade, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and companion, Krystal Capelle, of Van Buren, Arkansas.

Mac was a natural artist and his art is cherished by many that received a piece as a result of his generous soul and of his gift. He was proud to have created the art for two music CD covers, the most recent being the CD cover for musician, Joshua Thomas of Fort Smith.

In addition to his love for art and family, Mac loved caring for animals. He was employed at his parent’s business for many years, Wee Pals Pet Center and Happy Tails, in Fort Smith. He had the greatest compassion for the unwanted and scruffiest looking animals he encountered.

Although cut short, Mac had a great passion for life and followed his own path. His wandering, restless spirit is finally getting a well deserved rest. He will be missed.

The family requests that any desire to honor Mac’s memory be done by making a memorial contribution to the Sebastian County Humane Society 3800 Kelley Hwy Fort Smith, AR. 72904.
