Fayetteville’s favorite (and only) public pool opens Friday, June 10 for the summer season.

Of all the public pools in Fayetteville (there is only one), none is more popular than the Wilson Park Pool (obviously), and Fayetteville’s favorite (and only) public pool is opening up for the summer season at 5 p.m. this Friday, June 10. Admission to the opening night celebration is free.

Also Friday night, the annual Dive-In Movie series begins, with Despicable Me scheduled to start at around dark.

After Friday’s opening night celebration, the pool will be open weekly from noon until 8 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and 1 to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Regular admission to Wilson Park Pool is $2 for children, and $3 for adults. Season passes are $45 for children, $65 for adults, and $105 for a family of up to 5 people ($10 per each additional family member).

The weekday schedule Wilson Park Pool is as follows:
noon-1 p.m. – Adult lap swim
1-5 p.m. – Open swim
7-8 p.m. – Family swim

The city also offers swim lessons for $40 per session in the morning and the evening. Swim lesson registration is open during regular pool hours. For more information, call the Wilson Park Pool at 479-442-2641.
