Update: The Lucero / Cody Canada & The Departed show originally scheduled for the Arkansas Music Pavilion is now two separate shows at George’s Majestic Lounge.

The Lucero show will be held on Friday Oct. 14, and the Cody Canada & The Departed show will now happen on Friday, Sept. 23.

If you thought the folks at the Arkansas Music Pavilion were finished announcing artists for the 2011 season, you were wrong, buddy.

The venue announced today that Memphis-based southern rockers Lucero will be in town on Sept. 16 for a show at the AMP with former Cross Canadian Ragweed front man Cody Canada’s new(ish) project, The Departed.

Lucero was last in town back in February for two nights at George’s. They were also just down the road at Mulberry Mountain for Wakarusa on June 4.

Cody Canada & The Departed are currently touring like crazy in support of their upcoming record, This is Indian Land, due on June 21, 2011.

Tickets to the Sept. 16 show are $22, and are on sale now at waltonartscenter.org
