Bikes, Babes & Bling 2011 set for June 10, 11

Bikes, Babes & Bling is returning to Fayetteville for a second year on Friday and Saturday, June 10 and 11.

The female-focused motorcycle rally will be held largely at the Washington County Fairgrounds this year, kicking off at around noon on Friday.

Live music, bike games, a fashion show, a clothing swap meet, and a scavenger hunt are some of the activities planned for attendees at the fair grounds.

A Dickson Street pub crawl is scheduled to begin at around noon on Friday. After that, a bike parade will begin at 4:30 p.m. at Central Methodist Church on Dickson Street where it will head west towards Garland Avenue on the UA campus before returning to the fairgrounds.

Proceeds from the rally will benefit local women’s charities.

Here’s the full schedule of events for the 2011 rally.

Friday, June 10

12:00 p.m. – Dickson Street Pub Crawl Begins
4:00 p.m. – Pre-Staging for RSC Lady’s Parade of Power
4:30 p.m. – RSC Lady’s Parade of Power

Washington County Fairgrounds
12:00 p.m. – Beer Garden Open
2:00 p.m. – Bike games
5:00 p.m. – Night Train (band)
6:45 p.m. – Fashion Show
8:00 p.m. – The Larry’s with Amanda Rey (band)
9:30 p.m. – Band – FOS Project

Saturday, June 11
