Websighting: Kenny Rogers, Dec. 7 at Walton Arts Center

According to his website, it looks like Kenny Rogers will be in Fayetteville around Christmas.

It’s a long time from now, and it hasn’t been announced yet, but it looks like The Gambler will be making a stop in Fayetteville just before Christmas.

According to Pollstar, legendary country music singer, songwriter, and restauranteur Kenny Rogers will be at the Walton Arts Center on Wednesday, December 7. If you’re in need of a second source, the show is also listed on Rogers’ website.

Kenny & Dolly

Rogers has won three Grammys, 11 People’s Choice Awards, 18 American Music Awards, eight Academy of Country Music awards and five Country Music Association awards. He is the singer of hit songs The Gambler, Lucille, Coward of the County and a ton of other country classics. Remember Islands in the Steam, the duet with Dolly Parton? Yeah, that was Kenny.

He started his own chicken restaurant, his own record label, and played a racecar driver in the 1982 film Six Pack. There’s even a website dedicated to people who look like him.

Show time and ticket information haven’t been released yet, but considering the show is nearly six months away, we’ve got some time to track that info down.
