Shooting and stabbing reported at Arkansas Gold and Silver Exchange

Police investigate a reported shooting and stabbing Tuesday afternoon at We Buy Gold Arkansas Gold and Silver Exchange near the intersection of N. College Avenue and Sycamore Street in Fayetteville.

Fayetteville police are investigating a reported shooting and stabbing that occurred at around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon at We Buy Gold Arkansas Gold and Silver Exchange, located at 1722 N. College Avenue near the intersection of Sycamore Street.

As of 5:30 p.m. crime scene tape and police officers surrounded the store along with various members of the local media and apparent witnesses.

Here’s what others are reporting:

» KFSM has a video interview with a We Buy Gold Arkansas Gold and Silver Exchange employee who believes his coworker may have shot a possible robbery suspect.

» NWAOnline reports that two responsive individuals were taken away for medical care.

» KNWA reports that one individual was shot in the chest.
