Coming here: Reverend Horton Heat, August 4 at George’s

It’s been a while since Reverend Horton Heat made a stop in Fayetteville, but the Dallas-based punkabilly trio will be back in town for a show at George’s August 4.

If you’re not familiar, Jim “Reverend Horton” Heath and the band have achieved a cult following over the last twenty years or so, touring like maniacs all over the midwest with their catchy, often hilarious style of rockabilly.

Their latest record, “Laughin’ and Cryin’ with the Reverend Horton Heat,” embraces the Reverend’s irreverent side, and is also a little more country-tinged than his previous recordings.

The show at George’s happens to be the first in a string of dates with Atlanta-based Nashville Pussy, who are also no strangers to Fayetteville.

Tickets are $20, and are now on sale at George’s ticketing website.
