Giveaway: Imagination Movers at Walton Arts Center

This giveaway is now closed. Congrats to the winners, George and Cindy.

Chances are good that if you have children or spend any significant time around them, you’ve heard of the Imagination Movers.

Chances are also good that, compared to some of the other music kids make you listen to, you kind of enjoy the kid-pop band that has been called “the U2 of kids music.”

That was one of the goals that friends Rich Collins, Scott Durbin, Dave Poche and Scott “Smitty” Smith, set out with when they formed in 2003, to create some kids music that didn’t make parents want to tear their hair out.

Now, eight years later, they’ve got a hit kids TV show on Playhouse Disney, lots of critical acclaim for their catchy rock songs and astute lyrics, and plenty of kudos from any parents who have ever been on a long car trip with their kids. Mission accomplished.

The band will be in town for three shows at the Walton Arts Center later this month, and we’ve got two sets of four tickets to give away to the 11 a.m. show on July 30. That’s two winners, who will each receive four tickets.

How to enter

Leave a comment with the title of your favorite kids’ song of all time below. If you can’t think of one, just say “When I Was a Dinosaur” (by local kid-music masters, Trout Fishing in America).
