Thursday To-do: July 14

The B-52s will headline a show tonight at the Arkansas Music Pavilion with local band Ultra Suede.

Please forgive the tardiness of today’s to-do post. Our dog ate our pixels and is now passed out on the floor.

It’s set to be a busy night in Fayetteville.

Up north, the B-52s are playing the AMP. If you go to this, ask Fred Schneider about his car. Someone told us it’s as big as a whale and we have yet to confirm. Locals Ultra Suede open the show.

Out east, Casual Flyze and the Earth are the featured band for tonight’s free Gulley Park concert at … you guessed it, Gulley Park. Pro tip: Bring a blanket or chair to that one.

There’s all sorts of action planned downtown. Kingfish will have music on their new stage, Jeff Kearney and Nathan McLeod will play at Dickson Street Pub and probably walk across the street afterwards to play with Guta at Rogue, and Hardaway & The Commoners are going to throw a party on the patio at Powerhouse.

The full list is below the birthdays. Get it.

Happy Birthday!
