North Carolina-based Chatham County Line is one of the headliners of the 2011 Fayetteville Roots Festival.

News flash, amigos. The Fayetteville Roots Festival is less than 40 days away, and tickets to the main event at the Walton Arts Center on Saturday, Aug. 27 went on sale today (July 18).

The Saturday show will include performances by festival headliners Guy Clark, Chatham County Line, Sarah Lee Guthrie & Johnny Irion, 3 Penny Acre, and more.

Back in May, organizers announced the initial lineup for this year’s festival. A full schedule of events is expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

We do know there are five stages of music planned for the Walton Arts Center grounds on Saturday, and the aforementioned tickets will get you access to all five of them.

Tickets to the Saturday shows at Walton Arts Center range from $34-60, and can be purchased now at waltonartscenter.org.

Tickets to Greenhouse Grille Finale on sale soon

On Tuesday, July 19, individual tickets to the Sunday, Aug. 28 Fayetteville Roots Festival Finale concert featuring Cletus Got Shot, 3 Penny Acre, and Da Costa Rose & Elliott at Greenhouse Grille will go on sale.

Tickets are $20, and will be available exclusively at Greenhouse Grille.

Friends of the Festival Packages still available

“Friends of the Festival” packages went on sale June 28, and there are a few still available.

The package includes an intimate “backstage” concert with Chatham County Line at the home of Hershey & Denise Garner, as well as an open bar and dinner provided by Greenhouse Grille and Brick House Kitchen.

“Friends of the Festival” packages are $99 and are available at fayettevilleroots.com. Only 200 of these packages will be sold.
