Pretty Things Peepshow coming back to Smoke & Barrel Aug. 8

  • By Dustin Bartholomew · Friday, Jul 22, 2011

Less than a year ago, there were zero burlesque shows in Fayetteville. If they ever happened (did they?), it wasn’t very often, and no, the things that happen at the club next to La Huerta on College Avenue do not count.

Thanks to the fine folks at Smoke & Barrel Tavern, however, burlesque shows actually do happen every once in a while in Fayetteville these days.

As a matter of fact, there’s one coming up Aug. 8 when Pretty Things Peepshow, featuring Go Go Amy, Heather Holiday, Donny Vomit and friends, arrive in town for another show at Smoke & Barrel.

Tickets are now on sale at the bar for $10 each, and if there are any left the day of the show, they’ll be available at the door for $15.

Here are some photos we took the first time they came to town back in November of 2010. It was pretty awesome.

Pretty Things Peepshow

When: Monday, August 8
Where: Smoke & Barrel Tavern
Admission: $15 at the door, $10 in advance. Advance tickets available at Smoke & Barrel. Ticket reservations accepted by calling 479-521-6880.
