South Carolina-based NeedToBreathe will play the Arkansas Music Pavilion in Fayetteville on Oct. 7.

Until yesterday, there were four remaining shows on the 2011 Arkansas Music Pavilion lineup. Now there are five.

The Walton Arts Center on Monday announced that southern rockers NeedToBreathe will play the AMP in Fayetteville on Oct. 7.

The 11-year-old band started off playing clubs in their hometown of Seneca, South Carolina before being signed by Atlantic Records in 2005.

Lately, lead singer Bear Rinehart (named after the acclaimed Alabama football coach Bear Bryant) and crew have been busy opening for Taylor Swift’s mostly sold-out Speak Now tour.

The band’s fourth studio album, The Reckoning, hits stores in September.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, Aug. 12 at 9 a.m. and can be purchased by calling 479-443-5600 or online at waltonartscenter.org.
