A piano duel that had raged since 2002 on Dickson Street ended last month when Willy D’s piano bar closed, marking the end of the longest piano duel in Fayetteville history. Probably.
The owners of the piano bar, who also own Club Fix next door, expanded the dance club, and the fate of Willy D’s was up in the air for a while.

It was announced on July 15, however, that the bar owners plan to re-open next door at 230 W. Dickson St., with hopes to be up and running in time for Bikes, Blues & BBQ on Sept. 28.
