Teams looking to register for the city’s 2011 fall adult softball league have a few extra days to do so.
Registration has been extended through Aug. 25, or until 96 teams have registered.
The cost for each team is $425 and includes 16 games. Each team will play a doubleheader on one night per week.
The fall league starts Aug. 29 and runs through Oct. 24.
To make the program more accessible, most competition levels are available on more than one night – from the recreation level to the competitive level. Also, teams have the option of forming their own 6-team league during the pre-season process.
Registration forms can be downloaded from the city’s website (or here) and may then be dropped off at the Parks and Recreation office at 1455 Happy Hollow Road or mailed to 113 W. Mountain St., Fayetteville, AR 72701.
