The Fayetteville Animal Shelter will collect items for the second annual Paws for a Bargain Yard Sale Tuesday, Sept. 6 through Friday, Sept. 23, 2011.
Items can be dropped off at the Fayetteville Animal Shelter, 1640 S. Armstrong Ave. from 10 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday. For large items, call the shelter at 444-3456 to arrange for pick-up.
Shelter officials are hoping to top last year’s sale which raised almost $1,700.
“We look forward to giving citizens a chance to get some awesome deals while helping out the shelter animals,” said shelter superintendent, Justine Middleton. “Also, if you bring an itemized list of items with their reasonable value, the shelter will be happy to make you a receipt so you can write that donation off on your taxes.”
The sale will be open to the public from 7:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24 at Rolling Hills Baptist Church, 1400 E. Rolling Hills Dr.
Any items unsold from the sale will be donated to local charities.
