Arkansas – Alabama game to air on CBS

Arguably the biggest game on the Razorbacks’ schedule this year will play out on one of college football’s biggest stages.

The Southeastern Conference announced Monday that the Hogs’ Sept. 24 game against the Alabama Crimson Tide will be televised nationally on CBS. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m. in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

The game will mark the third straight year, and the eighth time in the series, that the Arkansas-Alabama game will be televised by CBS. Alabama leads the series with Arkansas at 11-8, and the Tide have beaten Arkansas four consecutive times going into the Sept. 24 game.

Arkansas will take on non-conference opponent Troy in Fayetteville this Saturday, Sept. 17 before they travel to Tuscaloose to begin SEC play against the Crimson Tide. The Tide will take on non-conference foe North Texas at home this week.

Arkansas is currently ranked No. 14 in the nation in the latest Associated Press Top 25 poll. Alabama is ranked No. 2.
