Arkansas basketball Hall of Famer and five-time NBA All-Star Sidney Moncrief will sign his new book at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 17 in the Walker Community Room at the Fayetteville Public Library.
In his book, In Your Passport to Reinventing You, Moncrief shares stories of personal setbacks and triumphs, and offers practical steps for “reinventing” you.
Moncrief, who recently accepted a position with the Milwaukee Bucks as an assistant coach, began his career in the NBA with the Bucks after graduating from the University of Arkansas. He became a five-time NBA All-Star, five-time member of the NBA All-Defensive team, two-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year, and an NBA All-Pro.
He has held coaching positions with the Dallas Mavericks, Golden State Warriors, University of Arkansas-Little Rock, and Fort Worth Flyers.
Moncrief provides consulting, leadership, team-building and personal development training and workshops for companies and organizations in the U.S. He also provides consulting for individuals, high school, college and professional basketball teams.
