Banff Mountain Film Festival coming back to Fayetteville Sept. 16

The mobile version of the Banff Mountain Film Festival is coming to Fayetteville on Saturday Friday, Sept. 16.

The Banff Mountain Film Festival is an international film competition featuring movies on mountain subjects. That means climbing, mountain expeditions, remote cultures, and other mountain-related stuff. The festival began in 1976 and is held annually in Banff, Alberta, Canada.

The touring version, made up of the best films submitted to the festival, will make a stop in Fayetteville at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 16 (doors open at 5:30 p.m.) at the University of Arkansas Global Campus.

Tickets are available at the event website for $14.
