Looks like we’ll be waiting about 10 days before the official results of last night’s Fayetteville School Board election are announced. Incumbent Steve Percival received 115 votes, while challenger Jim McGinty took 113 votes. The Election Commission must now wait until Sept. 30 when five absentee ballots from overseas are due back. Seven Fayetteville residents were appointed to fill various open board and committee seats during last night’s regular City Council meeting. (City Council Recap)

Anyone following Archie Goodwin on Twitter already knows that the five-star shooting guard from Little Rock chose to play college basketball at Kentucky instead of Arkansas. If you’re not into searching through tweets, there are plenty of stories. (CBS Sports, LEX18, Courier-Journal)
