Fayetteville police are looking for a suspect they say robbed U.S. Pizza last night.

Police received a 911 call just before 11 p.m. Tuesday from the manager of the Dickson Street restaurant who said he had just been robbed at gunpoint.

According to police, the suspect entered the unlocked front door after the last employee other than the manager left the building. The suspect then produced a handgun, and demanded money from the manager. The suspect forced the manager into the restaurant’s freezer before fleeing the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

FPD Sergeant Craig Stout said that the victim was unable to provide police with a description of the suspect.

“We are currently reviewing the security camera footage of the incident and hopefully we will have more information to release later,” he said.
