Single Parent Scholarship Fund Raises Scholarship Dollars at Golftoberfest | Press Release

Single Parent Scholarship Fund of Northwest Arkansas (SPSF NWA) hosted the annual Golftoberfest fundraising event Saturday, October 15, 2011 at Gator Golf in Fayetteville. Golftoberfest 2011, presented by Johnson & Johnson, is Northwest Arkansas’s original miniature golf tournament that raises funds and awareness for SPSF NWA. Approximately $10,000 was raised through local business sponsors and team registrants for the two-flight tournament.

“Golftoberfest has become a staple event in Northwest Arkansas! Each year, our numbers of golfers and funds raised grow, and this year was no different. We are thrilled to host an event that is family friendly and fun for all who participate,” said Anne Jackson, development director at Single Parent Scholarship Fund of Northwest Arkansas. “Most importantly, our supporters are able to meet and golf alongside scholarship recipients and their children, showing these families community support.”
