If you guys need some free candy, I know where you can get it. You gotta put on a weird outfit, though. It’s also probably best if you’re a kid. Still interested?

The Fayetteville Visitors Bureau will host the 10th Annual Trick or Treat on the Square, Monday, October 31, 2011, from 3-5 p.m. in downtown Fayetteville.

If you’ve never been, here’s how it works. Put on a costume, put a costume on your kid, put a costume on your dog, and head up to the Fayetteville square. Square merchants (most of them) will be handing out candy, Razorback athletes will available for autographs, the Walton Arts Center will sponsor a children’s costume contest, and Dog Party USA will conduct a costume contest for dogs.

The streets on the Downtown Square will be blocked to oncoming traffic for the safety of those attending the event.

Here are some photos we took of last year’s event. According to the Visitors Bureau, around 1,500 kids attended in 2010. It’s a party.
