A Fayetteville dentist is offering to buy back Halloween candy from local kids for $1 per pound as part of a national Halloween candy buy-back campaign which donates the candy to troops in Afghanistan. (KFSM)
Besides the white powder (that turned out to be baking soda) at the postal service processing facility, two other incidents of a suspicious white substance were reported yesterday including one at a Springdale Bank of America branch and another at an Arvest Bank branch in Siloam Springs. Galactic
The first time Denton, Texas band Seryn tried to play in Fayetteville, the summer heat briefly took the life out of their tour van. The group is back on tour, though, and barring any vehicle trouble between here and Nashville, they’ll be on stage tonight at Smoke & Barrel Tavern after a special Halloween edition of Tavern Trivia. Meet Seryn in the video below.
Over at George’s, there’s a big show with Galactic and The Revivalists. On stage with Galactic will be Corey Glover (Living Colour) and Corey Henry (Rebirth Brass Band). Tickets are $20 and can be bought at the George’s ticket site.
The MC Frontalot show that was originally set for Tuesday night at Smoke & Barrel is now happening tonight over at Ryleigh’s Boom Boom Room. Also set to play the $3 show are The OneUps and Lucio.
