The food truck trend is gaining momentum here in Fayetteville.

The Fayetteville High School Band will play at Carnegie Hall in New York City later this month.

The results of a week-long, public poll are in and the artists of the Fayetteville Underground have settled on a new name.

The Center for Digital Government and Digital communities program has placed Fayetteville inside the top ten digital cities with populations between 30,000 and 75,000 people.

Arkansas voters overwhelmingly approved a bond renewal program to improve interstate highways in the state during a special election Tuesday.

Pink Trash Ball

George’s Majestic Lounge hosts the 5th annual Pink Trash Ball benefitting the Susan G. Komen Foundation tonight. Happy Hour begins at 6 p.m. and Dallas-based band Vocal Trash takes the stage at 7 p.m. Tickets are $35 at the door.

Also tonight, GoodFolk Productions hosts a women singer-songwriter circle with an excellent lineup of local talent. Set to play the 7 p.m. show are Shannon Wurst, Carter Sampson, Tiffany Christopher and Fayetteville ex-pat Candy Lee who is back in town for a few days. For tickets, call 479-521-1812.

Elsewhere, Smoke & Barrel has Wasted Life Family Band, JJ’s has Russ Hutchison and Stella Boyle Smith Concert Hall has the University of Arkansas Tuba and Euphonium Ensemble Concert.
