Daily Flyer: Monday, Nov. 21

Garrett Uekman, 1992-2011

The Arkansas Razorbacks football program is in a state of shock today following the death of redshirt freshman tight end Garrett Uekman.

The cause of Uekman’s death is not known at this time, but University Police Lt. Matt Mills said there are no suspicious circumstances.

Uekman was last seen playing video games by a roommate about an hour before another roommate found him unconscious.

Attempts to revive him were unsuccessful. Uekman was pronounced dead at Washington Regional Medical Center Sunday afternoon.
