Today marks the six-month anniversary of an EF-5 tornado that ripped through the city of Joplin, Mo.
The storm left 161 people dead and destroyed more than 8,000 homes and businesses including the city’s main hospital and several schools.

Fayetteville resident Daniel Gold recently traveled to Joplin with a video camera and put together a time-lapse tour of the areas worst hit by the May 22 tornado.
