Traffic passes through the intersection of Cleveland Street and Razorback Road Tuesday, Nov. 29 in Fayetteville.
City crews are building a 5-foot-wide sidewalk along the south side of Cleveland Street from Razorback Road to Hall Avenue.
The project also includes realignment of the curbs and gutters and will require closure of the east-bound lane of Cleveland Street from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. each weekday through Dec. 16. Detour routes will be marked.

The street will be open to regular traffic at night and on weekends.
The work is part of 29 sidewalk improvement projects approved last year by the City Council.
