Fayetteville police officers graduate from School of Law Enforcement Supervision

Two Fayetteville police officers graduated from the Criminal Justice Institute’s School of Law Enforcement Supervision this month.

Sgt. Chris Moad and Sgt. Paul Shepard both graduated from the four-week program on Dec. 9.

The management courses are designed to set standards in leadership, education and advancement in the law enforcement profession. The program requires the writing of research papers to be published in the Criminal Justice Institute’s monthly newsletter which is distributed to law enforcement personnel throughout the state.

Sgt. Moad, an eight-year veteran assigned to the Patrol Division, was recognized for outstanding academic achievement during the program.

Sgt. Shepard is also assigned to the Patrol Division and is a 13-year veteran of the department.
