The south side of Fayetteville will soon have itself a new coffee shop and cafe.

Jammin’ Java owner Brandon Karn this week announced plans for a third Fayetteville location set to open later this month in the AR Research and Technology Park, 534 W. Resarch Center Blvd.

Karn said local resident Ross Bailey will operate the coffee shop and restaurant as the first Jammin’ Java franchise.

With a recent expansion project complete at the technology park, Karn feels the space is perfectly primed for a restaurant.

“They’ve got about 400 people working down there, and the building is about half-full,” he said. “Plus, they have plans to build a couple more buildings.”

The 600-square-foot cafe will serve coffee along with breakfast foods, sandwiches, soups, salads, and more.

Jammin’ Java currently operates in two locations in Fayetteville, including the original cafe on the square, and a shop inside the Northwest Arkansas Mall. There’s also a location in Branson, Mo.

If all goes according to plan, the new restaurant will be open by the end of February or early March.
