Arkansas head men’s basketball coach Mike Anderson met with the media Monday to preview the Hogs’ upcoming game against the Georgia Bulldogs.

The Razorbacks will attempt to bring home their first road win of the season Wednesday night in Athens, Ga.

Theres a thin line between winning and losing and we’ve got to figure out what it takes to win on the road.

Arkansas dropped to 0-7 outside Bud Walton Arena after a 71-65 loss to LSU Saturday afternoon.

We had 19 turnovers and that’s 19 possessions where we didn’t get a chance to shoot. As close as these games are, those kind of stats really stand out. We’ve got to clean that up.

Senior forward Marvell Waithe has been either missing or limited in games and practice since suffering a calf injury in the opening minutes of the Hogs’ Jan. 21 game against Michigan.

He’s feeling a little bit better. I think (getting him back) is going to be key. He’s an important piece of what we’re doing. With a day off and with a practice today, hopefully he’ll be ready to get back into the mix of things.

Georgia is on a four-game losing streak, but Anderson said that’s not necessarily a positive thing for Arkansas.

Georgia is a team that’s capable of playing well. They led Tennessee for the most part of their game, and that was on the road. They’ve got senior guards and when you have senior guards, you’re going to have a chance. Plus, they’re playing at home.

Wednesday night’s game tips off at 7 p.m. and will be televised on the SEC Network.
