Six officers with the Fayetteville Police Department were recognized during a promotional ceremony inside the City Council chambers Thursday afternoon.
Mike Reynolds was promoted to the position of Deputy Chief, Rob Turberville was promoted to the position of Captain, Doug Pope was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant, and Jason French, Jason Eddie and Robert McKinney were each promoted to the position of Sergeant.

The newly appointed supervisors received their Oath of Office from Fayetteville District Judge Rudy Moore Jr. Police Chief Greg Tabor presented the officers with their rank insignia.
