Shopping Night Out poster
NWA Fashion Week begins today in Fayetteville with Shopping Night Out, a series of one-night-only parties and specials at local boutiques like Riffraff, Savoir-Faire, and Brits & Turks. See a full list of participating stores at nwafw.com.
The Fayetteville Veterans Administration Hospital has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the country’s official list of historically significant properties.
The former owner of The Music Hall is planning to open a new bar on Dickson Street called Nomads DownUnder. The bar will be located next door to Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt on the first floor of The Dickson.
The University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service has posted an online educational video series on the problems created by stormwater and the importance of preserving water quality.

Mike Stud
Mike Stud is in town tonight for a nearly sold-out show at George’s Majestic Lounge. As a baseball player at Duke University, Stud (aka Mike Seander) was sidelined by elbow surgery following an injury. He then began focusing on rapping about college and eventually reached No. 2 on the iTunes Hip Hop/Rap Albums charts.
