The Razorback football team will begin their first of 15 scheduled spring practices on Wednesday, six of which will be open to the public this year.

The public will be allowed to attend practices on March 14, 15, and 30, as well as April 6 and 13. The final practice of the year is the annual Red-White spring game on Saturday, April 21 at 2 p.m., and is also open to the public.

Arkansas head coach Bobby Petrino seemed ready to get back to work during a press conference today.

“Spring ball is always a fun time of the year,” said Petrino. “We’ll spend a lot of time in individual work, guys trying to get better at their craft and better at what they do, and then the other part of it is the competition. People are fighting for starting jobs, backup jobs, you get the competition going between the offense and defense, and it will all be fun. Our job is to make everybody else better, so that’s what we’ll work hard at.”

Practices will begin at approximately 3:50 p.m., and end at around 6 p.m. inside Reynolds Razorback Stadium. Should practice be moved inside the Walker Pavilion for weather or other reasons, those practices will also be closed due to space constraints.
