The Walker Park Historic Mural in South Fayetteville.

City officials yesterday unveiled an informational sign that illustrates and describes the events and people represented in the Walker Park Historical Mural located at the south end of Walker Park, along the park’s outer trail.

Signs memorializing Jack Luper, a Fayetteville transportation worker who died last year after being struck by a vehicle, are now in place along Joyce Boulevard.

Bill Clinton has accepted a request to narrate the upcoming film, Up Among the Hills, The Story of Fayetteville.

The Razorback football team will begin the first of fifteen scheduled Spring practices today, six of which will be open to the public this year.

The Calamity Cubes

Kansas-based Americana band The Calamity Cubes are at Smoke & Barrel Tavern tonight with local twang rockers Damn Arkansan.

Also today, the Razorback baseball team takes on Gonzaga at 3 p.m. in Baum Stadium and Walton Arts Center hosts The Peking Acrobats at 7 p.m.
