Monday Events

Narrows

Hardcore supergroup Narrows and metal masters All Pigs Must Die are in town tonight for what Arkansas Times has predicted will be “the best hardcore show of the year.”

We posted a brief interview with Narrows last week. In that piece, Roger Barrett called Narrows’ latest effort “a cohesive and nihilistic assault” that “sounds like five men destroying a small room.” Over at AT’s Robert Bell said APMD makes “the most hair-raising, jaw-clenching, blistering metal I’ve heard in forever.”

Locals band Cowards will open the 8 p.m. show at Dickson Theater. $5 cover, ages 18 and up.

The full list:

JJ’s Grill: Austin Miller
The Perk: Open acoustic jam
Pesto Cafe: Darren Ray
Rogue: Straight Line Stitch / Chemical Discipline / Slagg Hammer / Scorned
Smoke & Barrel Tavern: Pearls Mahone
JR’s Lightbulb Club: Narrows / All Pigs Must Die / Cowards
