It looks like the experiment to turn UARK Bowl into a Sunday night comedy club is going well. At least, well enough to continue for another month.
Venue officials have been working with booking agency Funny Business to bring in nationally recognized comedians like Carlos Mencia, A.J. Finney, and Claude Stewart since January.
Last week brought an announcement of new additions to the Sunday Night Stand-Up comedy series that will keep the laughs going through the end of the month of April, with performances by Mo Alexander, Charlie Wiener, Tim Kidd, and Mike Brown.
Tickets to each show are $7 at the door, or $5 for students. Doors open each week at 7 p.m., and show time is at 7:30 p.m.
